Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend I normally don’t write reviews, but my recent experience with this company - Roger Extermination Inc. 4825 Rue 12, Laval, Quebec H7R 2T3, Canada, left us frustrated, out $250.00, and genuinely concerned for anyone else considering their services. We hired them specifically for a mouse extermination issue. At the appointment, the technician confidently told us “not to worry” and even went as far as to say, “100% you won’t see any more mice once the waiting period is over.” Well, the waiting period came and went—and the mice are still very much present. When I called back, I was suddenly told that this happens when you live in a multi-unit building. I asked, why this wasn’t mentioned before taking my money, especially since they knew it was an apartment they were coming to — only to be told, “because in some cases, it works.” So, based on their own words, they can’t reliably help people in multi-unit dwellings, yet they still went ahead with the service and the guarantee-like promises, but yet we received no refund, and no real help. When I expressed how wrong this was and that I would be writing a review about their conduct and what happened, Rogers responded was “He’d file a report against us as a “yelling, unhappy customer.” For the record, a yelling unsatisfied customer who was given false promises, and who paid for a services, that didn’t work at all. In the end, were out $250 for a service that didn’t solve anything. Buyer beware: If you live in an apartment or any multi-unit building, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for extermination services. Based on our experience, you may end up paying for something they cannot realistically deliver—despite the confident promises made upfront. I wish someone had warned me, so am paying it forward, so that someone else doesn't have to go though what we did.
