Marie-Nicole Lamoureux has been working with children for over 30 years. A Montessori teacher, certified Padovan, Masgutova and rhythmic movements therapist, she works toward the rehabilitation of the functional nervous system of the body, hands, eyes and mouth (breathing, sucking, chewing, swallowing). She is specializes in helping children with learning disabilities, attention deficit, developmental delay, autism, speech delay, and other nervous system dysfunctions (dyslexia, dysgraphia and others). She works with babies to encourage the establishment of a healthy neurological base.

The Padovan method

This method consists of a series of exercises summarizing stages of neurodevelopment (rolling, crawling, crawling, etc.) and movements for the maturation of the hands, eyes and mouth. These methods are suitable for children who like to move. It is very effective for all speech disorders.

The Masgutova method

A method used for the integration of reflexes, targeting one reflex at a time, working on a massage table. Reflexes provide the foundations of motor development and sensory integration in a child. We can repair the missed development stages at any age.

The rhythmic movements of Doctor Bloomberg

Another method for integrating of the reflexes. These are rhythmic movements that soothe the body and restore fluidity, consistency and breathe a rhythm into the body. Easy to learn, they can be practiced at home by parents with their child. This method is excellent for difusing fears, reducing anxiety, bringing an inner calm.

Padovan method effective for:

  • Delayed language development.
  • Learning Disabilities
  • ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia
  • Regulating emotions

Masgutova method effective for:
