I was on a tight deadline with a mortgage company. After being let down by a previous contractor, Rico Renove picked up the pieces of the half done work and in only a month completely finished a Kitchen and Bathroom renovation. Eric has an army of capable and qualified connections to assist with a project of any scope

I hired this contractor through Smart Reno website to do my basement bathroom renovation, the work was average, and had no issue with it at first, but then once the work was complete and i paid the contractor in full, few days later my shower base started to leak. This is when the problem started. It took a long time for the contractor to come back and look at my shower, it was discovered that, he cracked a small part of the shower when he was installing the pipe and the water was leaking through the crack. He then installed some glue around the leak which did not hold and few days later it started to leak again. I called the contractor back in again and it took me again few more weeks to get the contractor back in and he again installed more glue and it again started to leak. At this point we are already 2-3 months after the initial installation and during most of this time I am left without the shower working. I finally decided to get the shower manufacturer to ship me a new base, and the contractor told me once the new base arrives he will come in and install it, but again he promises the day he will come and does not show, does not return my phone calls or messages. I am still waiting for him to come and fix my shower. Overall this has been a very long and frustrating process, and I would not recommend anyone to hire this contractor for any work in their house. I would rather pay little bit more money and get a more professional contractors or home depot / Rona guys to come and do the work.
